Pastor Brian has a heart for inspiring, developing, and mobilizing men and women of all ages to fulfill their purpose in Christ. He is known for being energetic, passionate, spontaneous, and creative. When not reading books on first century customs and the pictographic roots of the Hebrew language, Brian enjoys learning computer programming languages and playing basketball. He and his wife Jess are affectionately known as PB & J and have two girls: Jenness and Parker. Megan oversees Student Ministries for NJCC, raising up the next generation of Christ-followers. Megan has served in ministry since 2011, after graduating Indiana Wesleyan University with her bachelor’s in Youth Ministry. She was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, located in eastern Pennsylvania where she took an interest in leading young women towards Christ and missions abroad. Megan loves photography, drinking Coca-Cola, talking to anyone, singing, and scrapbooking.
Mike has been involved in worship teams since he was a teenager and has been serving as a worship leader at New Journey for over five years. He is passionate about worship and helping people to experience the presence and power of God through music and corporate worship. Mike is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the Executive Director of Compass Rose Academy, a Christian residential treatment program for teen girls. Mike and his wife Emily, along with their daughters Corabelle and Olivia, live in Wabash and love taking family vacations and spending time with family and friends.
Jason Fusek moved to Wabash in April 2011 for employment at Living Essentials. He has attended New Journey since January 2017 and serves on the Worship team. He has been trained in “Harp and Bowl” styles of worship based prayer and has previously served as a prayer leader in Churches and Prayer Houses in California. He is passionate about fostering deep and life giving connections through prayer and worship, and extending God’s mercy to others in very practical ways. This passion flows from a deep knowledge of God’s saving grace and mercy as a recovered alcoholic, the relationship with the TREASURE -JESUS- he enjoys, and the great value of being connected to His Body, the church.
